The latest trend in the yachting industry is to buy and restore historic vessels and turn them into luxurious cruise ships because they have clientele that are lining-up to purchase passage and experience the unique feeling of being a part of the particular vessel's history.A case in point is the unprecedented success of the current owner of Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis’s legendary mega yacht "Christina O" who after restoring it at its former splendor, "opened the gates" to individuals that wanted to be part of her history.
The story of “Angara” “Aviso Hela”
The first name given to this legendary yacht of Hitler's' government, was "AVISO HELA".The history of the above vessel began on June 19, 1937 concluding with the contract for building a dispatch-vessel with Hamburg ship yard "H.
