- Blasting and painting as necessary of vessels underwater areas and sea chests
, including bootopping and application of 3 year tin-free anti-fouling paint.
- Blasting and painting of vessels topsides as necessary.
- Sandblasting and painting of cargo holds as necessary.
- Reinforcing bulkhead between cargo holds no 1 and 2 in order to satisfy IACS
unified requirements URS 19.
- Reinforcing hatch covers of cargo holds no 1 and 2 according to IACS unified
requirements URS 30 (this work may not be completed by the time vessels sails
from shipyard).
- Installation of water ingress detectors in all cargo holds, forepeak tank and
bosun's locker in order to meet IACS unified requirements URS 24.
- Ranging and measuring or anchor chains.
- Polishing of propeller.
- Renewal of stern tube seals as necessary and crediting of tailshaft for M/V DORIC CHARIOTclass.
- Measuring upper and lower pintle clearances and tailshaft weardown.
- Removing mud from double bottom water ballast tanks.
- Overhaul of sea valves as necessary.
- Fitting of hull anodes as necessary.
- Hull thickness measurements for classification society requirements for
special survey no.2.
- Repair to Class satisfaction of all Conditions of Class (steel repairs in
cargo holds and tanks) as necessary.
- Overhaul of main engine air cooler , main engine blowers and diesel generator, governors as necessary.
